Deadpool’s release banned in China


The long-awaited movie, Deadpool, directed by Tim Miller and produced by Ryan Reynolds, Lauren Shuler Donner and Simon Kinberg with a screenplay by Paul Warnick and Rhett Reese is set to release this February 12,2016 i.e this Valentine’s day in North America. Ryan will be seen in the leading role of Wade Wilson or Deadpool. The movie stars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Ed Skrein, T.J. Miller, Leslie Uggams Brianna Hildebrand, Stefan Kapicic and Gina Carano. The censorship authorities in China often makes special cuts in R-rated movies but this was not possible in Deadpool. Thus China i.e. the world’s second-largest movie market has denied the release of Deadpool due to its nudity, violence and graphic language. Deadpool is based on Marvel Comics and is a romantic-comedy movie. A brief story of the movie is that in an effort to cure his cancer, Wade Wilson was subjected to an experiment which left him with accelerated healing powers, unstable mind, disfigured skin and twisted sense of humor. With the new abilities and new identity, Wilson hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life. Deadpool is fans favorite and is called as a Merc with a Mouth. Although, fans are much excited for the movie through the trailers and the posters of the movie. Fans are believing that Deadpool will be successful and be a big hit. Let us see whether the movie is able to live on the expectations of the fans or not.
